Handmade tortillas, a full vegan section, nopales when you ask. The reviews say it better than we could, so here they are, unedited.

Great addition to Nellysford and will definitely be back. Service was great, quick, and food was tasty. We had the choripollo, tri-color burrito, and number 19 combo. Chips, salsa and chori-dip were great. My only feedback would be that the margaritas are a little too sweet, and the decor could be improved. But those are small things.

For Nellysford, this place slaps. I walked in curious and looking at the menus- very specific to their clientele if we’re being honest. But that was ok- I was stoked to ask for nopales and they have them! Not every spot in Richmond has nopales so that says a lot for a mostly -serving-white-people-establishment. Jalapeño marg was perfect nice and spicy, quesadillas were melty and warm. Exactly what you need after a full day of skiing. Good first impression! They have baked goods at the door don’t miss those. The table salsa is chunky and better than most, the chips could use a change from red-white-blue towards cantina deep gold color. ¡Gracias yall! Hope y’all are around for a while.

was in Nellysford for a trip and ended up stopping in here solo on my last night in town. I hadn’t seen a ton of vegan options in the area that really stood out to me, but I stumbled across this spot near where I was staying and noticed they had a full vegan section on the menu, which was a nice surprise. I ordered the burrito and the fajitas, both with vegan options, and everything was super tasty and hit the spot. It ended up being such a nice and satisfying meal to wrap up the trip. Really glad I found it before heading out of town.

While on vacation in the Blue Ridge mountains, we came across this Mexican restaurant. The food, staff, and service were all amazing. They had handmade tortillas, which was a wonderful surprise and the portion sizes were very generous. I highly recommend it.

I'm really hoping this place picks up. They have been open for only a week or two. Most places will have a few kinks to work out. I am pretty sure they are short staffed. Only two ladies were working the floor, and checking people out. Which may be why service was slow. It took a while to get drinks and the standard chips and salsa. Oh, they have no alcohol yet. No beer. A dish for the salsa was dirty and could not be used. My culinary companion said the ladies bathroom was pretty bad. The tables also have formaldehyde compliant stickers for you to read while you wait. All in all the place is not so great, but it has plenty of seating. Like I said at the start I hope this place comes together, and improves on some things, because the food is pretty good. We only had three items from the menu, but they were tasty. I will give them a couple three months to hopefully get it really going and give them another try. Cheers!
